Changes to Sheriff's Labor and Community Service

On August 11, 2020, in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19 within the courts, the jail, and the community, the First Judicial District entered an order suspending imposition of the Sheriff's Labor Program (SLP) and Community Service for the next sixty days, and extending completion deadlines.

All current orders and judgments requiring the completion of SLP or community service have been extended sixty days.

This Order also affects Unscheduled Jail Time for probationers and the availability of Work Release.
